We have a STR on a river that would be great for float tubing.

If it is a STR, only the tenants of the house will be there. 

I found furnished gets me a higher level of a tenant, i can do MTR or STR on my own terms and less headaches.Little more involved managing STR/ MTR but worth it if you ask me.Good luck

I would love to see AirBNB do a study on gentrification and the impacts of STR on pricing out people who have been in a certain neighborhood for generations.Getting pretty far off topic in some dicy subjects so I'll stop here but I really enjoy reading the thread,

Put your STR on VRBO/HomeAway and AirBnB to get those people who use other forms of booking.

Or is this your first out-of-state STR on a separate profile from your original profile (on airbnb Vrbo) etc? 

However, we saw it start and sustain in early April of this year - I will be curious if we see it last longer into the fall this season.The key to a great STR on the Peninsula is the view - this ensures you will always be booked.

For example, I had an STR on that was on Pioneer Road so we made a sort of frontiersman theme.

You have a STR on Airbnb.Maybe put it in a trust that had a similar name.
