I have a client in Columbus, Ohio who is doing a 1031 Exchange for the first time and wants to get started with a Qualified Intermediary.  

I was looking in Columbus OH but the market is so saturated and it's been difficult for me to find cash-flowing deals there.

Later I asked for a list of repairs for clarification and she didn't recall anything about the driveway at all and said "Oh I was probably talking about the road work that was going on".

Build, Rent, Refinance, Repeat and doing it in 3 zips where margins are good. 3 story walk up infill. most markets don't have low priced inventory and new construction sells at premium. look in your local market and see if that strategy works or the economics exist. our main market is Columbus Ohio. don't give up

Oh very interesting, I'll have to check the planning commission meeting notes because this was a hot topic in Denver the last few years so if it was discussed there on public record I'm surprised it wasn't in the news at all before!
