I live in Upstate New York but i was thinking of areas more out west or down south.

- Dividing by 3 units (you have to live in one for first 12 months) leads to $1867/unit/monthly rent.- Dividing by 4 units leads to $1400/unit/monthly rent.What are you factoring in your ROI & cashflow calculations for maintenance?

I live in NJ but am looking to purchase an investment property in NY State.

I'd recommend house-hacking a duplex or triplex if possible to help limit your living expenses.

Are you planning to rent it out or live in it?

I was born in Allentown hospital many years ago, but now living near and investing in Northeast Philadelphia.

**For context I house hacked for about a year after she passed away but couldn't live in that house anymore and sold it.

I had a nice conversation with them and approved their booking for Aug 2025.So, it pays to keep an eye out for a repeat booking that looks fake as they could just not be seeing you responses.
