I am thinking that instead of paying full cost for parts and instillation on each home, she buy a bulk of panels wholesale and pay to have them installed as she buys (this also helps her take full advantage of the tax credit).

I had one issue one time on some coffee grounds in the plumbing but this was with 100 year old pipes, I'm sure most of the time its not a problem - but Id rather steer on the safe side and be extra cautious - or at least instill in the tenants to be extra cautious.

Downside is you may have to claim tenants money as income and instillation cost as expenses for tax deduction.
