@Kristian Sexton@Sami Gren she hit it on the head. it is more of a liability issue when it comes to adding someone into the middle of a lease term.

It may not get the number of wind/hail storms like TX does, but when the storms do hit in MN, they're usually very large systems, and produce awful hail damage.

If property is done right even in todays market you can hit 1% rule and attract very desirable college students.

Residential subdivisions, while potentially less complex, can be hit-or-miss depending on local housing trends and the cost of infrastructure development.
