-Marco I am biased but I would recommend starting outside the city where you can find stronger rent-price ratios.

I live in and invest in Tampa so I’m biased but you truly can’t go wrong in either market, Tampa is going to be a little better on the appreciation side and Orlando will offer slightly better cash flow opportunity whether it’s multi family, single family or short term rental.

Hi @Andrea Evans - Thank you for your interest investing in Chicago haha...I am for sure biased, but I love investing in Chicago for several reasons.1. 

It is VERY heavily biased toward renters because of the military base, meaning picking up SFRs is easy and keeping a good one full should not be a problem.

🤷‍♂️It seems like investors nowadays believe they are "smarter" and want to do it all themselves.Although I'm bias, I still believe this DIY approach to be a recipe for disaster for many.But who am I to judge?

Good luck  lets keep in mind we all have Bias  and Bob's bias is Section 8 Cleveland as that is how he makes his living owning and selling these types of assets in multiple markets..

I have a bias for sure to the west coast compared to FLA weather totally flat terrain humidity and bugs.
