I've had a Chevy Silverado (216,000 miles, bought with 90,000 miles for $4,000) and a couple of Ford F150s. 

I live in Hartland and my profession is an Engineer for Ford.

Really low cost of living since I'm in company housing with a company car (a freaking Ford Taurus when people are shooting at us at gas stations) plus a rather nice paycheck. 

We were driving home in my 1998 Ford pickup (so yeah, the truck was three years old), she told me as well that she liked nice things and asked why I wouldn't trade the truck in for a newer vehicle.  

I also feel like it's a Ford, Chevy, Ram kind of argument - everyone loves one and hates the rest.

Does GM or Ford ask if it is moral to sell vehicles vs swapping it up to bicycles?

I currently have a RAM 2500 (pulls the Vermeer chipper and small equipment), RAM 3500 (pulls the Bobcat T-770), and Chevy express van (general purpose LTR property management stuff) and will soon replace all of them with a Ford Lightning 150 (delivery this summer) to complement my Mach-E.
