I do feel like anyone serious enough will just take the two minutes to answer the seven questions, which basically just establish if they meet the minimum requirements (3x the income, Credit Score, No Pets/Smoking, etc).

People in this camp feel it doesn't make sense to buy a SFR or small MFR in markets like ours because it is more of a liability than an asset.- Others believe that investing in areas with high appreciation is sort of like putting $ into a retirement or a high-interest savings account.

I live in a lower-income area, so I figure that the better tenants you will get with a safe house, the ongoing safety the tenants feel, and the lowered risk of a break-in (when occupied or vacant getting ready to lease), and reduced headaches/vacancy/potential damage are worth the marginal up-front cost of having it installed.
