@Jim K. finally your insane instance to not do RE the right way has come home to roost.

I've even heard that it's possible to close on properties remotely, and that's something that might be appealing to me, too.I've already got an accountant and a financier contact, but one of the issues I have realized is that most banks don't want to do RE loans that are less than $100,000.

J and J Q Public should stick with what they know of and can easily do.  RE

Satisfaction is about having a complete life: Health, Relationships/Family, Purpose/Goals/Meaning, Fulfilling Work (wether for needed income or unneeded) Remember, you can always do RE on the side of getting a degree to test it out.

I got my license at 18 and my brokers at 20 so I have been an independent broker in 3 states for going on 47 years now.. so thats an option.. takes time to build a rolodex  ( thats old school for client list) but once you do RE becomes almost all referral based .

They don't let just anyone get them, like they do RE licenses)

I learned how to not just do RE, but how to set up a business and treat it like a business.

However, I have not really looked into data around how much returns do RE syndications historically give and if that meets my criteria, then that actually be the best answer.
