In any case you need to run your own numbers and evaluation of the property to see what you can discover and by running the numbers I mean have someone inspect the property for discovery more than anything else. 

And, taking a deed in lieu, as a wrongful foreclosure, you're not really out of the woods after filing that deed, you have statutes of limitations and, if there is any fraudulent manipulation involved, the statute of limitations begins upon the discovery of the act, not when the act was committed.

I’m based out of Discovery Bay, CA (west of Stockton).

For this reason, I have developed a new habit- as soon as I hear a new "jewel," I make a quick note of it, and when I get home I put it on a post-it next to my other discoveries.

I recently joined the community and every day is a new discovery.

In this situation, a creditor would have to initiate discovery and put you under oath to discover your relationship to the asset.

Discover is not the same score my bank uses, but for me it was much closer to the version of the Fico used by my bank. i read auto dealers use a FICO 10 score.

So after some discovery today based on some direction provided here and getting more information from the executor....The probate process was obscenely long, and no one can really say why.
