. ;-) There is nothing false wiih what @Henry Clark said.Commercial real estate is broad - Office space, self-storage, Farm, Data centers, residential properties above 4 units, etcIt can be true that one part of commercial real estate is suffering while others is thriving.

I don't see much data to back up these wild claims in the article.

We a significant amount of research into market rates of rents, population in-flows and out-flows and other data.  15% management fee covers specifically what?

.)- Average days on market- Absorption rate- Historical data on rents and sale prices in the area- Population growth- Main economic drivers (industries, individual companies, etc.)- Crime stats... if you know specific zip codes/submarkets that you'd like to target, the best data will come from local precincts. - and more..I'd recommend remaining active not only here on BiggerPockets, but in other valuable RE investment networks that you can find - i.e. local meetups (meetup.com, eventbrite, BP local events). 

Just another data point that RentRedi isn't ready for prime time.
