@Perry IvyDepending on where the panel is located you might just paint the cover over it the same colour was your wall or, if using near shaded trim, the same as the trim.

I have 3 in the yard that provide tons of shade.

I mostly agree with Adam, but I would probably go a few shades lighter.  

The sketchy shade didn't even apply.  

Depending where you consider central jersey to start, But some towns I have been through that fit that middle range are Maple Shade, Delran, Mt Laurel, Mount Holly, Riverside, Wilingboro.

Merrillville is getting "darker" and that's affecting the values. 

As you'll see, the darker the area marker is shaded the higher the income (you can adjust the opacity by clicking options to see the map easier if desired). 

You agreed to the 2 room's so now your stuck. but if you don't like what they chose get some alternate shades and present those.Never have I let a tenant paint for all of the above reasons that have been given.

Darker base cans with lighter uppers is a stylish way to add interest and color to an otherwise dull kichen VERY inexpensively.
