Mostly older homes, houses by the university Hanford, CA $100k is a war zone no idea rent amounts but Spanish is needed. $163k is a nice area getting $1450 in rent (100k under what it sold for new, bought in short sale) Taxes 1%Taxes 1/2 Insurance My point in this long post is 100k does not go very far.

This fall, I'll graduate from the University of Texas at San Antonio, fluent in Spanish and conversant in French and Italian.
