I have an estimate to replace the downstairs with a Goodman 3.5 ton, 14 SEER unit for $3200 and the upstairs with a Goodman 1.5 ton, 14 SEER unit for $2800.1) Should I service the Freon in December of 2019 and ride it out as long as I can?

On my newer furnaces (most of my rentals were replaced with Goodman brand years ago), most of the time its just a flame sensor or ignitor that fails.
