Hey all, recently started investing into RE with my first home in my hometown in DFW after graduating from College and recently purchased my second down the street.

Fully furnished, utilities included, close to hospitals and colleges. 

If you grew up in a large family or have had roommates at college or other situations a SFH that you hack some rooms is a great idea.

The house is rented to college students, with the parents paying and dealing with everything.The house had a burst pipe and water damage in the shared bathroom in August of 2023.

Hold a class at the local library, community college, or worship place.  

Top suburbs for house hacking include East Point, Decatur, College Park, Lithonia / Stonecrest, Mableton, and Smyrna / Vinings.

I'm currently doing my due diligence on a multifamily that's located within a college campus. 

I'm not opposed to investing in Ashland, but Huntington would be my first choice due to the population, demand, growth, college, affordability, and the list goes on and on.

We did however, put in brand new HVAC to both units, new flooring in the bigger unit and then furnished them nicely to rent MTR. n This location is 2 miles from one of the largest hospitals in Knoxville and only 3 miles to the college and downtown.
