I just booked a trip to Kauai in sept and St John’s in the Caribbean in November.

Cali has mountains surrounding and the views in the afternoon are brethtaking even while just driving...there are many other aspects of Cali and this areas I can talk about ..like being surrounded by the 6 top Univesities in the city ..best private schools..shopping centers ..restaurants so on ...so forth ..I would more hesitant to investing in Bogota and Medellín less so in Cartagena than Cali due to factors that make the Caribbean at less desirable destination for locals due to preversive cultural colourations..people prefer living in land lock cities instead...

Kind of negates the whole purpose.I ended up with 60K American miles and 140K Chase points, and I decided to redeem the American miles first (Chase points do not expire).With 60K miles, supposedly I would be able to get two tickets to the Caribbean, and I wanted to go to Cozumel.

Or any where else in the Caribbean that can help advise?

Same is true for travel- instead of going to Europe or the Caribbean, maybe they drive to a national park or fly to a trendy city.

One is an 8 br and the other is a duplex with 7br each.I use a property management company down there called Elliott Rentals that has turned out very well and they’ve been quite responsive.I would greatly suggest staying in North Myrtle Beach as it’s a step up from the carnival atmosphere of Myrtle beach.

The next cruise/conference they have planned will be next spring that will take place through the Caribbean. 

USAFA '09 @Mark Allen, I wish I could go back to my younger self and spend my career starter loan on RE instead of a Caribbean cruise, ski gear, and stocks that tanked. 

Me and two friends are starting to look at  resort areas in Mexico and the Caribbean.

So, I'm not sure how Hong Kong or my hometown of Brussels made it to the list.My investing world is more Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Southern Europe.
