Keep it coming.And you are right - personal referrals as being trustworthy are almost as good as any others, and certainly way better than none at all. 

I have a 4 unit home in Brooklyn and am still in need of someone trustworthy to work with for basic maintenance issues.

My suggestion is that keep that contractor happy if he is honest and trustworthy. 

As for Property management Complete Property Care is the way to go, they are very trustworthy group.

Honestly, at the end of multiple counteroffers, it came down to our credit scores, money in the bank, and if we were the most trustworthy to not back out in the middle of escrow.

Hey mate,I've been around the block when it comes to US property.Moved here in 2012 and have done quite a few deals over that time.Best advice would be to move here.I find it almost impossible to invest successfully from afar.Unless you are buying turnkey or have established some serious/trustworthy relationships in your target area.Financing is also a tough gig for foreign investors.The terms will suck for those that don't have US based income and a social security number.Work hard, live frugal and save the $$$.Just an opinion from someone that's done it and still does it.Much success

Until I became established financially and developed a trustworthy network, I worked short term deals. 

I tried looking up online but tired of tons of details to fill and then tons of spam calls on phone...what do you suggest about the best way to find trustworthy agent or good insurance company. or if you can refer anyone I can dm you.
