Another s/f neighborhood fined me for having a "for rent" sign in the front yard.They decided that they didn't like them and banned them.

That said, some homeowners' insurance companies have banned certain breeds, so be aware of your own policy when you rent to people with dogs, and/or make sure your insurance company doesn't practice breed discrimination.
