VRBO is bad, I've had nothing but bad experiences (albeit only two) from it.For some reason reviewing isn't in the VRBO ecosystem culture, so it's hard to vet exactly who they are and if they're legit.I had to file a claim because my first VRBO guest cancelled their credit card, which in turn had me return the money.

he would just tell him to sit there and work the radios and don't talk unless I need you :)So this got me to thinking there went CRM right out the window ( crew resource management) created after some very publicized accidents with Asian airlines were all crew members differed to the Capitan as he flew the plane into trouble. their culture was never talk back to most senior guy..

Of course I have dealt with people from other cultures where a written contract is just a starting point in negotiations and they expected to continue that here in the states.

I will say that "culturally" or "typical societal pressure" alludes to giving earnest money as the proper thing to do, but it is not required to have a valid, enforceable contract.

You can make good money in the mess if you are willing to do what it takes You CANT be :-scared of people from different cultures and low education backgrounds - big hearted -leanant -timid If you are any of these things above you should hire a property manager because these people have literally made a life of gaming the system and going around the rules .
