I Love Real Estate and feel similar that my real estate is my retirement not the 401K, It is a nice cushion growing on the side though.

And if your an animal lover a serious vet visit/hospitalization that would costs thousands here would cost 80-90% less there.  

I love RE so that won't change for me although the idea of renting and not having to deal with homeownership is alluring at times.Like @Elizabeth Colegrove  my rental property is in an A area.  

Now I work as a general manager for an air ambulance company.I love real estate investing.

I love real estate because so many people and banks will loan money on real estate.

It lets me look at my returns based on my down payments since I am a leverage lover ;)

I love real estate as an investment (not part of my firm) and I focus on duplex investing to augment projected retirement cash flow.I have scanned the website and like what I see, but I am confused about one rule that seems to be used a lot, and that is the 2% rule.

BTW I'm also a cat lover with 3 cats.
