I have a small, SFH 3 bdrm and rent 1 bdrm to 1 person - as the ad clearly states.I had a couple reply recently - went on and on about being older "professionals": "We just want to make music and bring smiles to people.

They're the ones who will park crazy and take up two spaces, "forget" to pay rent on time, play music too loud, etc. 

I am considering a tenant who also teaches music from home (her current place). 

"Steve never washes his feet" "can you remove Stuart from the property as he plays loud music at night"Just goes on and on.

But, hey, I hope his/her idiocy means you make more money.This sounds like a Mexican neighborhood,  And in my opinion, in growing up with a best friend who was Mexican, as well as many in my life since then in California, the neighborhood probably has no problem, whatsoever, with this person doing business as a babysitter or a seamstress.If your owner is stupid enough to pay for the costs involved in evicting a Mexican person in an Mexican neighborhood, because she was trying to make a living - then he deserves everything he/she gets.And don't think for a second, that his "reputation" won't hurt him in finding another good tenant.Welcome to Mexi-Cal. 

As a tenant, if the restaurant has music and/or sells alcohol, it can be a problem. 

Plopped down in a very tiny Mexican town outside Fresno, CA, is a beautiful subsidized senior apartment complex. 

It's been musical apartments!

My primary concern was if the tenant downloaded some illegal music or something else I could be fined for or the fiber equipment could be damaged, under this arrangement, I am not in charge of the account used to login to manage the google fiber connection or the equipment that's used at the residence.Hope that helps anyone interested in doing so themselves.
