However, I do know that once I committed to RE full-time, my income doubled and i was able to focus on my business 100%.I would say, give yourself a 6 month goal...how much would you need to make a month to leave your job. create a plan to bring in double...then work backwards...how many conversations would you need to have a day, how many conversations doyou need to have a week...and then that will translate to how many sales you'll need.

Aside from the fact that I enjoy working with my hands and taking something that looks ratty and making it look nice (I used to restore old Mustangs, too), I have always felt as though I was translating real skills that I have into real dollars by turning a $10,000 rehab done by contractors into a $2500 rehab done by me, and pocketing the difference.
