Scary stuff that was keeping me on the sidelines.     

While I’m currently sitting on the sidelines building capital for my next deal, I took the advice of the BP community and became a licensed broker.

I can thank Bigger Pockets for getting me off of the sideline after a long hiatus from investing because of my first deal several years ago going poorly.

Shame to see so much time and energy being spent on speculating.Ever notice that the people talking about the future, guessing what will happen etc, are the ones who are on the sidelines and not active?

To think you must sit on the sidelines until you have what you are told you need to have... well that type of belief system is not what makes a true real estate investor if you ask me.

You're not sitting on the sidelines anymore, like half the people here in these forums.

But, if you're waiting for the market to do something, you're going to be stuck on the sidelines.

Sold it in early 2003 and I've been on the sidelines since.

I had done some RE deals in the Army, but when I got out I "started" in insurance with a sideline small business consultation. 

I guess I’ve been hesitant as I assume these deals were put under contract at pre corona prices but not sure.Everything I have learned recently is the newer investors are sitting with money on the sidelines but the wealthy are investing more into these assets.
