Last Sunday’s sermon title at church was, “ If not now, then when?

I think it is funny that I and other people will drive to the fitness center, but we can't walk to the school, church, office, bank, store, etc. that is just 2-3 blocks from our home. 

I then added in a couple of extra's, such as an annual two week vacation, and a percentage to continually reinvest and give to my church.

When we are home we volunteer at our church (actually my wife is still employed part time doing what she loves) and spend time with family.

I also do volunteer work for my church and at times lead small groups to teach others things I am learning to help build up the church community.

Freedom for me is flexibility with my time to engage in purposeful activity by contributing to my church, being a leader to my family, and helping friends with their projects.

I did two international adoptions, foreign travel, always lived in secure neighborhoods and drove dependable cars,  enjoyed skiing and vacations, and gave to my church. 

Yesterday at church somebody asked me what was new and I told him that we just bought three houses on Friday and he was polite and smiled and said that’s great then he really didn’t have anything else to say about it.
