The loan mod into a 40 year term is plausible.The loan servicers (old and new) "not doing a good job of reaching out to her" is not plausible or likely.

They are not reporting covid related forbearances to credit agencies - they are showing current, which would lead me to believe if the loan mod qualifies as some kind of covid related event, future loan guidelines may be a little more forgiving at this time.

The only things to stop the foreclosure are a loan mod, forbearance, reinstatement, bankruptcy, law suit, moratorium etc.

They cannot foreclose on you if you successfully completed the forbearance, continued to make payments and offered a loan mod by the previous lender.

i got the absolute most out of mentoring calls with @ameliajorei (ig). i originally heard her on the bp rookie pod, and reached out on ig. she's super approachable, makes investing uncomplicated and fun, and i felt like she was just ~2 years ahead of me. that has always been way more inspiring/relatable to me than trying to learn from someone who's lightyears ahead of me, or doing way more than i even ever want to be doing. i want to say she had something like 20-30 units at that time?
