The president of the US seems to have made quite a large sum of money from real estate holdings as well.

Somehow people think the Federal law presides over State, except when it comes to Marijuana. 

One came up corporate .. worked for PG and eventually Nestle ( which owned Beringer  and wine world estates) he was the President of the company and also ran Stauffer for Nestle for a while Then bought wine world from Nestle and then took it public and sold it for 1.5B ..

When the loan amounts became smaller, their mortgage banker said you should talk to the branch president about some commercial/ portfolio loans.

Other than being president or sitting on the Supreme Court I reached the goals I set as a teenager. 

Some years ago I was introduced to the president/founder through a mutual friend and learned that he was formerly an underwriter at one of the major title companies that I will not mention. 

Tax rates can and do go up or down drastically based on legislation, which is a reflection of economic/budget trends, the president, needs of government, etc.

@Kiril Stawrew one of my mentors was the President of a national brand public company.He started in sales worked their for 30 years worked up to become president.. got great retirement package at 52.. but having all the contacts he had over the years when it became know to him that the parent ( Nestle) wanted to sell this division he put together a group of investors.. ( colony capital and bass brothers) bought the business received a few million shares for doing the deal...

Even during the high inflation President Carter days the economy seemed to perform better and people were more current on payments.
