You can look at any city and realize the problem isn't shortage of land, it is costs and to some extent infrastructure.

Well this whole deal is going to get super complicated as it does appear to mirror to some extent those complaints you cited.. 

I think the key with MTR is gauging the market and casting a wide, but calculated net at first.

It's like comparing a wide, stable & safe pontoon, to a speedboat.
