@Anthony Wick he is correct, there are reports that some areas of the sf bay are already down about 5%... this is just the beginning, I’d keep some powder dry if I were you!

Simply allocate the proceeds into as many down payments as you can find/qualify for.One of the ways my clients are using to start to mitigate risk in a  maturing market and yet leave your powder dry and options open is what I call defensive investing.

At that point, I would sell, keep my powder dry until the market corrected where prices were back in synch with incomes. 

The stock market is investing for 10 years out...You need some dry powder for the purchase and for emergencies.

Salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.
