@Stephen Neto Drug use, tenants moving people in and out, paying rent when they feel like it, etc.. are all hallmarks of owning rentals in low income areas.

@Jay Hinrichs - SEC 8 will let anyone live in the house, as long as they are on the lease, report their income, and don’t have any felonies or drug convictions.  

Assuming there was no simple typing/scrivener’s error, then making a deal with the neighbor seems like the only solution.....maybe a prescriptive easement.

Seller financing is a like a drug and can benefit you or be a sucker punch.

I mean it seems to be the right kind of place because at night you don't see questionable behavior, i.e. prostitutes, drug deals, etc.

I have a part time job, it's giving pre-employment drug screens to people starting contract work at the above refinery.I would be very cautious about having a STR 1.5 hours away. 

They aint (yet) in Pennsylvania.Come on, illegal drugs are, well, illegal. 

I always wanted to ask her why she felt like a couple of months of construction was worse than continuing to let the home be a drug house and neighborhood eyesore...

If you want to set yourself apart, be courteous and professional and respect their time.Their main concern would be people looking in medicine cabinets for drugs and in dressers for jewelry.
