Most of my travel nurse / medical professional bookings have come from Furnished Finder but the other sites usually appeal to other tenant types like digital nomads, relocating families, etc.  

I think it would make my rental houses less appealing if, after coming up with a deposit and first month's rent, the tenants immediately had to buy appliances.

I can certainly see the appeal of a low cost property that you own outright that cash flows immediately vs. a long-term investment where you are paying a mortgage every month and hoping for appreciation.  

If it's nice inside and out, or can become nice, it could appeal to travel nurses as well.

Look for properties with features like separate utilities and layouts that appeal to tenants.

So if there is no debt common equity may look a lot more appealing than a deal with 90% debtThis also depends on your investment strategy.

If you have two full baths it will appeal more to this group.The downside in Phoenix to a MTR is I am not sure you would get summer occupancy if you aren't the top location.

A licensed property manager should have access to the MLS which would put you on realtor.com, Zillow, and probably a dozen or more other websites.You don't need professional photographs, but they should be improved.
