To me that is a win but it may not seem like it to someone who is investing simply for cash flow.  

It seems like a win-win, especially with the simplified approval process and flexibility for multi-generational housing.

If we build more, dense, "dormitory-style" housing or similar, we can more efficiently house people, bring down costs, and everybody wins. 

They put out fake news articles that they write themselves and have it automatically published using PR websites that push anything and everything regional news websites that instantly are published with review. 

If tenant fails to appear you might win right then.

It gives instant credibility.

We went in with what we hoped would be the winning offer because this is the one that checked the most boxes of everything we'd seen in months and we really like it.Am I even under contract for this property with everything in the address being wrong? 

To win the STR game, especially if you're a new entrant, the most important aspects are 1) Amenities2) Location3) Property type4) UniquenessAll are geared toward you standing out on Airbnb/VRBOHot tubs, fire pit, bowling alley, pools etc. or being in the best location in an area as well as being to host a large group are all things to help you win.

Yes, there are times they do win and make money, but not on a frequent bases in my experience.  

The fact that you got an owner to chat with you about it is a big win.
