Investment Info:Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

We’re still holding steady and hoping to get it rented in the next month or so.

Hold onto that bad boy for 5+ years and you will be seriously thanking yourself down the road. 

I will provide more information later.The two main setups are:1- Holding company in Wyoming if I want Charging Order Protections advantages, then a Series LLC in Kansas holding my Kansas RE and another Series LLC in Missouri holding my RE in Missouri.2- Holding company in Wyoming if I want Charging Order Protections advantages, then form as many LLCs as I want inside of it, one per rental or one LLC per 2 o 3 rentals.Fees are pretty reasonable and the same as they disclosed before the appointment, on their website or youtube videos.

Current individual stock portfolio (non-retirement accounts) with holdings that might be volatile in the next few years (big tech & big oil). $51k is about 17% of the portfolio and gains on the stock holdings are already 100-200% (long-term).

Some of the newer ones seem to take forever (45-60 min) to run compared to the older ones.

A carryover basis would be a huge downside though compared to a basis step-up if held by parents until death. 

At least comparatively to properties in California, Washington, Montana and Idaho, investors seemingly still get a lot of value for their capital. 

Structurally, the property is in pretty good shape EXCEPT one problem that I cannot properly assess: the plumbing will not hold pressure.

Mortgage rates would likely hold steady.
