Issue is that we decided that we'd be happier living in spaces with more space and greenery, so it's more likely that we'll settle down where we currently are in the Tierrasanta area rather than making the move to more congested areas.

One thing with street names-- the nicer/happier it sounds, the worse it is... where I used to live, the ghetto was called "Friendship Court" 

I own a 4-plex in a less than desirable area and two of my tenants are section 8 and I couldn't be happier with my returns.

Here I am one year later, with 57 total units and almost $1 million of assets under control, my mobile home park investment firm is expanding, and a much, much happier self.

You'll be much happier in a claim scenario.IMO, if you're looking to lower insurance costs, raise your deductible. 

People do it all day every day and that's a strategy some folks live by, but as someone who's been on both sides of a deal I can tell you everyone is a lot happier at the end if the expectation of a low price happens early.
