Moving back home to the Eastern Shore of Va, about an hour south of Ocean City, Md.

I'm looking at condos in the Buckhead, Midtown, Piedmont Heights, O4W, Atlantic Station, and Decatur areas (among others in the north/eastern part of the city - basically everywhere north of I-20 and east of I-75) and I'd love to hear everyone's input who may be more familiar with the city than I am, what are some (if any) streets/areas in those neighborhoods that are unsafe or I should avoid for other reasons?

I work in Ida, Cherokee and the eastern part of Woodbury County. 

I lived and worked in development in Russia and Eastern Europe for many years and an very interested in Serbia as an investment location.

I am looking to purchase my first investment property in either NJ or eastern PA. 

I live in Eastern Iowa, working full time making about $30,000 gross a year.

That being said I am very well versed in all of south eastern Michigan.

I'm looking more Greensboro and west from there and maybe a little in Eastern Tennessee.

It is in the mountains in Eastern TN.
