The interesting political dynamic to watch is the divide within the Democratic Party.

That allowed the democrats to pass the bill without any republican support.

Failed Democratic policies.

Of course, executive orders are not ideal in a 3-branch democratic form of government, but with Congress a partisan dumpster fire, is there really any other way to get things done?

I do not expect the government to suddenly give up this great power they have over us now, especially with democrats controlling 2 or 3 branches of the federal government.

Plus, I personally wouldn't put anything additional into student loan payments right now because there is such a heavy push from the democratic platform to pass some type of loan forgiveness that unless someone has a ridiculously high interest rate, it may be best to see what comes of this before paying additional money towards the principle. 

So first make sure is not a protected tree and if your mayor is a democrat check for local ordinances if any in this endeavor, Once you are in the clear legally, the cheapest way of course is to do it yourself.
