The HML as you know never leave their office.. they collect data just like a bank does order the appraisal and all that jazz we dont do any of it.. we will run criminal though we dont want to be funding any bad actors or dead beats.

I also hope we have a change in the White House and this requirement disappears immediately.It's interesting that this rule was created the rule to prevent companies from hiding criminal activity even though the vast majority of American companies will never engage in criminal activity.

Then there are calls about all sorts of minor stuff - and just odd behavior, like calling the gas company at midnight because they thought they smelled rotten eggs….. getting our gas shut off for a day, bringing over questionable house guests, bringing over a small dog and housing it without asking, and just overall kind of being a mess.

I would advise you to approve this applicant unless there is a strong, objective reason not to - such as eviction history, a recent criminal conviction, or their income (including all disability income) is less than whatever standard you have used for all of your past tenants.
