Do I need the seller to provide me with the mortgage documents and have a lawyer review?

Me and my wife spoke to an immigration lawyer yesterday, but the answer was pretty much "hire me first"Any guidance/advice would be greatly appreciated!

However, I'm not sure he'll want to go along with that structure, as it's probably not ideal from his point of view.Let me finishing off by mentioning that I'm not a lawyer and that none of what I wrote should be considered or taken as legal advice.

That said, I'm 6 years out of bankruptcy and on fixed income.

This could leave you exposed if you do not own your cabin under an LLC or corp (im not a lawyer so plz don't take me on this 100%) The upside might be that your insurance could go down with the sprinklers installed.

Check with your lawyer that such a penalty is permissible in your state though.

It’s a good idea to review local real estate development compensation norms or even consult with a lawyer to ensure the deal is fair.In your uncle’s case, the terms seem fairly favorable to the engineer if he is only handling the development and not contributing any capital.
