I’m looking to invest in Columbia, South Carolina, Augusta, Georgia, and Jacksonville, Florida.

Any folks have insight into a local bank in Columbia SC area that is willing to do cash out refi on a non-seasoned rental property?

@Farrukh Madaminov I’ve used Columbia Bank out of Fairlawn for a couple of Hudson County commercial loans I had a good experience with them.

While they're being rehabbed they usually have unpleasant nicknames - The Roach Motel (full of dead ones), The Dog House (smelled like wet dog inside), the Crack Shack (found an old crack pipe someone left in the electrical box)...Once they're all prettied up and rented we just go by the street name, Columbia Ave., Drexel Dr., etc.  

I've been reading and learning on here quite a bit, and decided to take action recently on a rental property in Columbia, SC.

There are other neighborhoods that might be meet your criteria... but when I think of areas that are going to be "easy" tenants, I think of the neighborhoods referenced below:Pleasant RidgeNorwood(very street to street)Columbia TusculumWalnut Hills(very street to street)Northside(up and coming, lots of opportunity--flippers making $$ here)OTR... but you'll be buying on the fringes and waiting a few years before gentrification takes hold in the areas of OTR that are affordable and the #'s make sense for rentalsNewport, KY(above 10th street)Covington, KY(above MLK)Bellevue, KY
