Mine can set door codes, message (or call) guests, schedule cleaners, adjust the thermostat, monitor my cameras, & call a plumber just as easily as a local PM can, for 1% of the costHire good cleaners, a solid handyman & befriend some helpful neighbors.

Unfortunately, every minute that he dedicates to being "in front of the camera" (on the forums, etc), detracts from the time he can spend on the back-end, adding features, improving the design and making it more valuable for the users.In addition, Jon Holdman has dedicated a large part of his life to this site over that time period as well (unpaid), and between the two of them, they put in major hours making sure the forums are free of spam, staying on topic, ensuring posts don't go unanswered, providing links to old threads related to new threads, etc.By bringing on more moderators, they can spread the workload around.

I opted to buy a used camera and did it myself, it will pay off in a few homes, the value here is I can walk away from a home before even paying for inspection if there are a lot of hidden issues, or negotiate the price down (with photographic evidence).As an example, my most recent purchase, 1968 brick home had some cooling issues and I suspected attic and insulation, and what happened was they added blow-in insulation and covered suffit vents up.
