I will likely just leave it and repaint as I'm too concerned about the can of worms that if open up by taking it down.

i agree guys...i don't like going in and repainting apartments, but saying my time is better spent elsewhere is just guru nonsense from a course or book..landlording is work....the trutth is how many hours in the day do we arlready waste watching tv or doing some other trivial wor??

I just had my painter look at my floors that I am going to repaint and he said oil based is a must on the floor, it'll last a lot longer.

I meant cleaning and *repainting, not reprinting.

He went on to explain that all the remediation company will do is wipe it down with Dawn dish detergent and repaint the surface.I would love to save on the rehab costs but do not want to set myself up for issues down the road.

I'd repaint the walls in here, though.  

Plans as of now are:- Remove wallpaper and repaint entire interior of home. - Replace doors and windows throughout.- Kitchen: Paint cabinets, new appliances, new sink, granite counters, and put in dishwasher.

A suggestion would be picking a color and sticking with it so repainting is easy with turnover.
