I have contacted the district attorney and have also filed a criminal report with in the chicago area.This guy also has been to prison for this before and from the looks of it, this this isn't the first time he has pulled this trick of his.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JOHN SIMS!!!

At this point its probably not a "getting my money back" issue (they'll just file bankruptcy after the pressure rises), but should be a goal of tossing multiple people in prison.

So if those are of no value....go for it I have seen two people put into prison in Mississippi for illegal NON licensed property manager schemes..

If something urgent does arise, it helps to have a local STR manager that can handle it for you rather than larger national companies like Vacasa and Evolve - that tend to be notoriously bad at handling issues for owners.
