In contract on a SFH in the Hudson Valley, with two rooms in the main house that have their own entrances and are perfect for AirBnB. 

It's a 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom SFR which has been perfect for house hacking - everyone has their own bed/bathroom and one room has a private entrance.

It is located in a HOA where we have two pools, a clubhouse, workout area, tennis courts and private entrance to the beach.

Hi all, I really want to house-hack as my first entrance into the investor world. 

Will the added units make the building call for fire escapes, and fire suppression equipment, or ADA upgrades, or an elevator, or upgrade the whole place to 2023 Electrical code or etc...Is there enough electrical amperage at the service entrance for the added units or will you need another drop or a transformer or something like that.Will construction noise drive other renters to not renew (???)

the properties need to be boarded up from the back entrance points in order to protect the water heater, furnace and all the supplies at the property. 

Having the entrances and area well lit should help to deter them.

There are 2 separate entrances, each to its own unit.

Assuming an ADU, but would love to hear :)Adding multiple ADUs in the backyard and want to get access to the main street from the backyard to allow access from there, so new tenants do not have to use the front entrance/yard and front street parking and more importantly so they can park there as there are plenty of available street parking on that main street.

There is also the opportunity to enclose a back portion of a carport that has easy entrance to the house that will add sq footage in the future (my hubs is in construction so we do a lot of the work ourselves or have access to subs at a discount).
