I used to coach at ECU and mentored quite a few of student athletes who had interest in real estate investing.

Since the recovery, those homes have seen a great deal of appreciation. 

For many areas of the country, the real estate market is strong and is poised to lead a recovery, as long as lenders don't pull back and decimate demand.

Admitting you have a problem means you have taken the first crucial step on the long road to recovery ;-) I know other people who have talked about, thought about and researched real estate, attended meetings, gone to work shops, etc, for years.

One is a likely a bubble the other, a recovery.
