Simply asking for your bank and branch does not provide the landlord with the ability to inquire about your accounts or their content - under Canadian privacy law that would require explicit written consent.That said, in instances where applicants are self-employed or graduate students living on research grants, we often request bank statements as a means to verify ability to pay.Here in Canada, a landlord may request a social insurance number (SIN)  - our equivalent to a Social Security Number in the U.S.A. - but they cannot require it and the applicant is under no obligation to furnish it (again, due to privacy law).  

I'd try and not let it bother me and build a taller privacy fence for the backyard to prevent her from stick her head over the fence to harass your tenants.

Ipso facto the decision has been made to build a 6 foot privacy fence in between the properties to separate our business and these neighbors.

If privacy and separation is of importance, you could look specifically for properties with attached/detached ADUs or walk-out basements.If you are still curious on development and financing for that, speaking with a few local lenders would likely be your best bet to get your specific questions answered as others have mentioned. 

But the LLC, if you use a registered agent, can help provide privacy from what I've read on the forums. 

Those man-camps are usually out in the rural areas to be closer to the work areas & privacy is significantly diminished.

., I put my foot down and told him no, that it's an unreasonable request, that as the property owner I have a right to entry and I don't want to establish a precedent of locking myself out of some doors of my own properties for strange reasons, and that perhaps he would be happier as a home owner if he wants more privacy.  

Florida statute bars certain information from being available on the wewb- one probate information comes under that privacy law, so information as to the applicant and the decedent's address etc and not on that part of the site.

They are not even allowing me to put a lockbox on the door to show to any potential tenant, saying it is invasion of privacy.
