A significant portion of my friends are rock musicians and I had just read Richard Florida's book "Rise of the Creative Class" - combined with the media, all signs seemed to point to Detroit. 

My name is Renaldo, a Midwestern native, and Active Duty Sailors of (9) years, currently stationed in the San Diego area.

Then you have the problem of finding competent staff to work there (impossible because they are all out fishing) and that is all assuming you can find a plot of land not owned by a native corporation which has electricity and public water/sewer.

Most of these potential tenants have ID's issued from their native country, but very few have any form of ID that was issued here in the U.S.
