He finally got a check in the mail this week for all of the back rent.There are two morals to this story:1) There are a few people out in the wide world that have the same surname, but are not actually related, and2) If you ever rent to a Section 8 tenant with your last name, get a copy of their birth certificate to prove that you aren't related and save yourself a ton of grief!

Most trying to deal in real estate have no clue as to their responsibilities, legally or morally without understanding the obligations assumed in society or in our economy.
