I dont do formica, but I can paint ANY color with an alphalitic hydrocarbon porcelain solid AND color, fixing chips, swells, you name it, in 1 day.

.* Refrigerator doesn't work...Furnace.........windows don't slide, doors don't open, flooring doesn't lay right, faucet leaks, bathtub has a chip, , etc, etc, etc.I'm guessing by now you get the point.

Hello Biggerpockets,My wife and are ready push all our chips forward and jump into Real Estate, but of course as newbies we have alot of doubt.

If the carpet is old, replace it, if the paint is chipping or ugly, throw something neutral on it.

I have samples of carpet and paint chips with me.

There are a couple "blue chip" companies located in my city that I am going to be applying to as well.

And you're right, this is not a blue chip investment... however, it doesn't need to be for this one specific scenario.
