@Ian M. - thanks Ian- lots of information to digest between all of these posts, and as you say, there isn't necessarily one "right" way to look at finances- it has to do with each person's beliefs regarding money, risk tolerance, and overall financial education as well.It's also good to hear when things aren't going so well, because even though it's a bummer, it's part of any type of investing, and I think failures are great teaching tools, plus it keeps us humble and constantly seeking knowledge on our investing journey.Thanks for your feedback!

I prefer the local lumber yard over the big box store home depot, they know me and it is better lumber.Flooring goes two ways for us, either local or online, again, prefer local for the ease.I agree with Ian, always shop your product out for best pricing, I will however spend a little more for convenience.
