There is working knob and tube through the house (not a code issue per se, but I'm getting there).

Do you find that something like this is a red flag for other issues, ie lead, radon, nob and tube?

Handyman went into her attic to install the tubing for the new fan to the roof, because previous said "unit" was not routed outside.  

this reminds me of the movie with (can't think of the name) going to a bank asking for a loan. they ask him what he does and he says "porn star".

i have personally never had that offer when it wasn't to compensate for some sort of red flag, ie: past evictions, felony conviction, sex offender, drug dealer, or prostitution/porn But who knows, there's a first for everything!

Suddenly my second child's severe hearing issues didn't warrant ear tubes.  

Erik,Here are some things to lookout for from an Insurance perspective:1.Any in-ground tanks (active or inactive)2.Any Knob & Tube or Aluminum Wiring3.If built before 1978, does the building have Lead Safe certifications4.Any wood stoves or secondary heating units.
