My husband is in army.

I am active duty army as well and started on this "real estate" journey just a few years ago.  

My father was in the army, he bought the homes they lived in, paid them off quickly utilizing the military housing allowance, and kept them as a rental after he was transferred/promoted. 

The 2MM in debt you put on the building will have an army of tenants paying down your mortgage month after month.

I am currently getting ready to move back home to the Berks county area because my husband is getting out of the army.

I am about to return to the Denver metro area and currently in the process of transitioning from the Army.
